Formation Roll Call

In the Military, We Often Have Formation

Sometimes the formations will allow leaders to share advice and check on the well-being of the members of our organization.

Female Defenders’ Formation Roll Call is an opportunity for us to share advice and be concerned with the well-being of others.

It is advice FOR US BY US.

Female Defender is a large family of women from various backgrounds, lengths of service, and an array of experience!

Our family consists of young ambitious women who will one day lead the way.

Our family consists of women who are the “ONLY’”

Our family consists of women who are the “FIRST”

To ensure the ones who are the ONLY & the FIRST will not be the LAST…We share advice and check on the well-being of the members of our organization.

Ladies…. Let’s Get Started, It’s Time for Roll Call!

Today’s Roll Call Offers Advice to Women who are beginning their careers:

First, is insight from a 2019 Calendar Featured Defender, Jazsmne Harrison. She offers advice that helps us get through moments when you may feel as though you are alone.

Jaz offers:

“Don’t Allow the nay-sayers to deter you from the reason you joined. ”

Next, Suzanne Sigurdson, Veteran advises:

“Try to be the best human being you can be. Have morals, scruples and a strong work ethic. Consider things from other points of view. Emulate those who you respect and heed their advice.”

Situational Leadership is important for our fields of work. Our company believes the following advice is essential to the work of First Response and Defense.

Ami Consoer tells us:

“No Scene is ever the same, but you can use your experiences and those of your crew members to smoothly form a plan of action.”

Female Defender believes that mentorship is important for your personal development. As you continue to progress in your career, you should continue to seek the advice of mentors. You should also offer your expertise to others.

Teresa Michele Wells confirms with her advice:

“There are great leaders and mentors out there and if you give 100% all of the time, you can be one.”

Some of our Female Defenders share the following advice:

“Be humble, stay hungry and always be the hardest worker in the room.”

Gau TD

“Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something.”

Monica Cooper

“Never forget the military women that paved the way to your being where you are today.”

Angela Pridgen

Last, but DEFINITELY NOT LEAST:

“Be Passionate…treat others with respect even when it is not returned.”

Jennifer Johnson Potter

Formation Dismissed!

We hope you enjoyed our Roll Call!
